Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj was born in a modest farming family in Village Dhanana, Tehsil Gohana, District Sonipat, Haryana (then part of Punjab state until 1966).

Father: Bhagat Nandarama (or Nand Lal) – a simple farmer from the Jat community.
Mother: Bhagatmati Indro Devi – a devout and humble woman.
Family lived a basic rural life dependent on agriculture, with limited resources.

From childhood, Rampal showed a deep religious inclination. He was a devoted worshipper of Lord Hanuman, reciting the Hanuman Chalisa seven times daily and visiting Salasar Dham in Rajasthan. He also worshipped Lord Krishna, Khatushyam Ji, and other deities, but felt no inner peace or spiritual fulfillment. This dissatisfaction drove him to search for true knowledge.
Education: He completed a Diploma in Civil Engineering from the Industrial Training Institute in Nilokheri, Karnal.
